Video and audio references: what the Omni mode gives you
A regular model only knows what you tell it in text, maybe one or two images. Seedance Omni lets you give more context: several character and location shots, a video fragment as a guideline, a sound track.
Audio reference is rare: in Reelora, only Seedance Omni takes sound as reference. Other models generate sound themselves or don't generate it at all. If the rhythm or sound atmosphere of a scene matters, it's worth trying.

- Don't set 15 seconds 'just in case'. Editing cuts the clip to fit the voiceover anyway, so use the length you actually need.
- A 20–30 second clip in Seedance 2.5 Omni only makes sense when you really can't break the action into multiple scenes.
- Check your format before generation. 21:9 looks great in a cinematic video, but shorts need 9:16.
Where Seedance still has weak spots
Generative video has shared limitations, and Seedance is no exception. Text in the frame can have artifacts, hands and small objects in motion can look odd, and complex physics — collisions, liquids, many objects at once — is less convincing than a calm scene.
